Code of conduct

This is a small research and engineering repository. The aim is a place where people can ask questions, report problems and disagree about technical choices without it getting personal.

What we expect

  • Be specific and be kind. Criticise the code, the claim or the method, not the person.
  • Assume good faith, and ask before concluding that something is a mistake.
  • Say when you are unsure, and say what would change your mind.
  • Credit other people's work, and cite sources for claims you did not measure yourself.
  • Keep to the project's scope. It is an evaluation harness on synthetic data; discussion of operational use against real systems or people is off topic and may be closed.

What is not acceptable

Harassment, insults, personal attacks, discriminatory language or imagery, publishing someone's private information, and sustained disruption of a discussion.

Enforcement

The maintainer (@Telschow) may edit or remove comments, close or lock threads, and block people who break these rules. To report a problem, contact the maintainer privately through the contact options on their GitHub profile. Reports are treated confidentially.

This text is short on purpose. If the project grows, it should be replaced by a standard code such as the Contributor Covenant.
